أعلنت الخارجية الإيرانية، الإثنين، تعيين سفير جديد في بغداد، من دون تغيير في الخلفية القادم منها، إذ يرتبط الحالي وسلفه بالحرس الثوري.
والسفير الحالي الذي أعلن اليوم عن نهاية مهمته هو إيرج مسجدي المستشار السابق في قوات فيلق القدس التابع للحرس الثوري الإيراني.
وخلال المؤتمر الصحفي الأسبوعي في طهران قال المتحدث باسم الخارجية الإيرانية، سعيد خطيب زاده ، “تم تعيين حسين آل صادق سفيرًا جديدًا لإيران لدى العراق وسيزاول مهام عمله قريبًا”.
وأضاف خطيب زاده “سيباشر عمله الأسبوع المقبل، ومن المحتمل أن يزور وزير الخارجية العراقي فؤاد حسين طهران خلال أيام”.
ووفق المعلومات الشحيحة المتوفرة فإن “حسين آل صادق أحد القادة المتنفذين في قوات فيلق القدس”.
وبدأ إيرج مسجدي عمله سفيرا في بغداد في أبريل/نيسان 2017، خلفا لحسن دانائي فر، وكلاهما من قوات فيلق القدس التابع للحرس الثوري.
وكان مسجدي مستشار القائد السابق لفيلق القدس الجنرال قاسم سليماني الذي قتل في غارة أمريكية مطلع عام 2020 في بغداد.
وكان مسجدي شاهدا على عدة توترات في العلاقة بين بغداد وطهران حيث استدعته الخارجية العراقية عدة مرات للاحتجاج بشأن عمليات إيرانية في البلاد على خلفية المواجهات الأمريكية الإيرانية التي كانت العراق ساحة لها.
