أكد الجنرال مظلوم عبدي قائد قوات سوريا الديمقراطية أنه تلقى تأكيدات “واضحة” من كل من واشنطن وموسكو بأنهما تعارضان “غزوا بريا تركيا”، لكنه أوضح أنه يريد شيئا ملموسا أكثر لكبح أنقرة، على حدّ وصفه.
وأشار عبدي فى تصريحات صحفية اليوم إلي إنه لا يزال يخشى هجوما بريا تركيا على الرغم من التأكيدات الأميركية، مطالبا برسالة “أقوى” من واشنطن بعد رصد تعزيزات تركية “غير مسبوقة على الحدود”.
وبحسب وكالة رويترز، قال عبدي إن “هناك تعزيزات على الحدود وداخل سوريا في مناطق تسيطر عليه الفصائل المتحالفة مع تركيا”.
ومضى يقول: “ما زلنا قلقين. نحتاج إلى بيانات أقوى وأكثر صلابة لوقف تركيا. لقد أعلنت تركيا عن نيتها وهي تستطلع الآن الأمور. تتوقف بداية وقوع غزو على كيفية تحليلها لمواقف الدول الأخرى”.

وكان المتحدث باسم الرئاسة التركية إبراهيم كالن، قد أعلن اليوم الثلاثاء، أن العملية العسكرية في شمال سوريا ضد “التنظيمات الإرهابية” قد تنطلق في أي وقت.
وأضاف المتحدث أنه “يمكن تنفيذ العملية العسكرية بعدة طرق، وأنقرة هي من سيحدد موعدها وطريقة تنفيذها”.
وتابع: “العمليات العسكرية في الشمال السوري من شأنها المحافظة على وحدة الأراضي السورية”.
وشدد على أن تركيا “لا تأخذ إذنا من أي جهة لمعالجة مخاوفها الأمنية، ولا تخضع للمساءلة من أي كان”.

أفاد المتحدث باسم قوات سوريا الديمقراطية، أرام حنا، اليوم الثلاثاء، بأن “قسد” تجري لقاءات مع الجانب الروسي ضمن ما وصفها بمساعي خفض التصعيد في إطار الحفاظ على الاستقرار ومنع وقوع أي تدخل عسكري تركي في شمالي سوريا.
ونفى حنا أن تكون قوات سوريا الديمقراطية، التي تتألف غالبيتها من عناصر كردية سورية، أن تكون قبلت بشروط وضعتها أنقرة.
ووفق حنا فإن الشروط التركية تتضمن:
– انسحاب (قسد) لمسافة ثلاثين كيلو مترا بعيدا عن الحدود مع تركيا.
– تسليم قياديين من حزب العمال الكردستاني في سوريا.
– نشر نقاط للجيش التركي وكاميرات مراقبة على طول الحدود السورية التركية، أو تسليم كامل المنطقة للجيش السوري.
