وفيما يمكن وصفه بالمغازلة الواضحة لكرد تركيا، اعتبر كمال كليجدار أوغلو رئيس حزب الشعب وزعيم المعارضة التركية أنه يمكن التوصل إلى حل بخصوص الأزمة الكردية.
وأوضح زعيم المعارضة التركية أن حل الأزمة الكردية يمكن من خلال حزب الشعوب الديمقراطي وليس عبر زعيم حزب العمال الكردستاني عبد الله أوجلان كما يحاول أردوغان.
تصريحات كليجدار أوغلو التي يتوقع البعض أن ترفع الأسهم الانتخابية لحزب الشعب الجمهوري جاءت خلال الحلقة الأولى من الفيلم الوثائقي “السيد كمال وتحالفاته” للصحافي والمنتج الوثائقي جونال جانتاك.
وبحسب صحيفة زمان أشار أوغلو خلال الفيلم الوثائقي إلى أنه أعلن قبل سنوات عن دعمه لدخول حزب الشعوب الديمقراطي إلى البرلمان في انتخابات عام 2015 واصفا الشعوب الديمقراطي بأنه الهيئة الشرعية لحل المشكلة الكردية، ويمكن حل الأزمة بالتعاون معهم.
وهاجم زعيم المعارضة التركية ما وصفها بـ مفاوضات أردوغان مع زعيم حزب العمال الكردستاني، عبد الله أوجلان، كاشفا أن النظام سعي لصفقة مع أوجلان وحدثت مشاورات بين الطرفين خلال الانتخابات البلدية عام 2019 من أجل الحصول على دعم الأكراد لمرشح العدالة والتنمية في بلدية إسطنبول مقابل حلحلة الأزمة الكردية، لكنها باءت بالفشل.
وبحسب كيليجدار أوغلو فان حزب الشعوب الديمقراطي يمتلك قاعدة شعبية كبيرة، مكنته من الوصول إلى البرلمان، ولعب دور مؤثر في البرلمان، مشددا على أنه إذا كان هناك حل للأزمة الكردية، فلن تتم إلا من خلال الهيئة الشرعية للأكراد وهي حزب الشعوب الديمقراطي.
ويقود حزب الشعب المعارض تحالف الأمة الذي يضم حزب الشعب الجمهوري وحزب السعادة الإسلامي وحزب الخير القومي ويدعم حزب الشعوب الديمقراطي تحالف الأمة لكنه ليس عضوا رسميا فيه.
وشن حزب العدالة والتنمية الحاكم بتركيا ما يمكن وصفها بالحرب على حزب الشعوب الديمقراطي حيث اسقط عضوية العديد من نوابه وحظر ممارسة العمل السياسي على المئات من أعضاءه وينتظر الحزب حاليا قرار المحكمة الدستورية في دعوي حله على الرغم من أن الحزب صوت له 7 ملايين ناخب خلال الانتخابات البرلمانية الأخيرة .
ولعب حزب الشعوب الديمقراطي دور الوسيط في المفاوضات بين حكومة حزب العدالة والتنمية وحزب العمال الكردستاني التي توقفت في عام 2015 عقب محاولة انقلاب عام 2016 تم اعتقال رئيسي الحزب صلاح الدين دميرتاش وفيجن يوكسكداغ وعدد من البرلمانيين آنذاك.
وفى سياق متصل، كشف استطلاع رأي أن غالبية الناخبين الأتراك يفضلون عقد انتخابات مبكرة في تركيا.
الاستطلاع الذى أجرته مؤسسة ORC للدارسات والأبحاث المعروفة بقربها من النظام الحاكم في تركيا اكتفي بسؤال المشاركين عن ما إن كانوا يرون أن تركيا بحاجة لانتخابات مبكرة قبل موعدها الرسمي في يونيو 2023.
وبحسب النتائج التي نشرتها المؤسسة أوضح 59.9 في المئة من المشاركين أنه يتوجب عقد انتخابات مبكرة في تركيا، بينما أعرب 40 في المئة من المشاركين عن رفضهم للفكرة.
