قررت حكومة إقليم كردستان تعطيل الدوام الرسمي 7 أيام بمناسبة أعياد رأس السنة.
ومن المقرر أن تبدأ عطلة رأس السنة من 25 ديسمبر الجاري 2021، ولغاية 1 يناير 2022، على أن يستأنف العمل الرسمي يوم الاحد 2 يناير 2022.
وفى بيان لها اليوم، أكدت دائرة الاعلام والمعلومات في حكومة اقليم كوردستان أن العطلة الرسمية تشمل جميع مؤسسات حكومة إقليم كوردستان الحكومية وغير الحكومية، والمؤسسات التعليمية”.

يأتي هذا القرار عقب إعلان محافظ أربيل أوميد خوشناو، إلغاء الاحتفالات بمناسبة رأس السنة في محافظة اربيل، “احتراماً” لأرواح شهداء البيشمركة الذين سقطوا في الهجمات الإرهابية الأخيرة وضحايا الفيضانات التي اجتاحت المدينة الخميس الماضي.
والأحد الماضي، أعلن محافظ أربيل في مؤتمر صحفي، ان “الفيضانات اجتاحت 15 ناحية وقرية، وتسببت بموت 12 شخصاً ولا تزال جثتا اثنين منهم مفقودتين”، لافتاً الى أنه تقرر إلغاء جميع الاحتفالات بمناسبة السنة الجديدة “أحتراماً” لأرواح شهداء البيشمركة وضحايا الفيضانات.
والجمعة الماضي أن حجم الأضرار المادية الناجمة عن الفيضانات بلغ نحو 20 الى 21 مليار دينار، وان المياه أغرقت 2509 منازل وأوقعت أضراراً فيها، مشيراً الى ان “الفيضانات تسببت بإضرار 402 منزل، و867 سيارة جزء منها يعود الى الدولة، كذلك 153 محلاً تجاري”.
والجمعة الماضي،اجتاح فيضان مدينة أربيل جرّاء موجة أمطار غزيرة ضربت المدينة، وخلفت أضراراً بشرية ومادية في عدّة مناطق.
وأعلن رئيس إقليم كوردستان نيجيرفان بارزاني تخصيص مبلغ مليار دينار لمساعدة المنكوبين بالحادثة.
