أكدت تقارير صحفية تصاعد الخطاب المعادي للاجئين في الأوساط اللبنانية و تنامي المطالبات بإعادة اللاجئين السوريين إلى بلادهم أو ترحيلهم إلى دول أوروبية، خاصة في ظل الأزمات الاقتصادية والمعيشية، التي يعيشها لبنان.
وخلال الساعات القليلة الماضية، ارتفعت وتيرة بعض التصريحات العنصرية، وانتشرت دعوات إلى “محاصرة مخيمات النازحين” أو طردهم، كما زادت التوقيفات الأمنية من حدة هذا الجو المشحون، لاسيما مع الكشف عن مصادرة أسلحة في بعض المخيمات.

وبحسب وسائل إعلام، أعلنت المديرية العامة لأمن الدولة اللبنانية في بيان اليوم الثلاثاء أنه تم “مصارة كمّيّة كبيرة من الأسلحة مخبّأة داخل إحدى الخيم في سهل مدينة زحلة (البقاع)”، وتوقيف سوريين تبين أيضاً دخولهما خلسة إلى البلاد.
أتى ذلك، فيما تتصاعد عمليات تسلل السوريين بطرق غير شرعية إلى لبنان، سعياً للهروب من الأزمة في سوريا، وشق طريق عبر التهريب إلى أوروبا.
فيما ترتفع الدعوات من قبل بعض السياسيين والصحفيين والمواطنين إلى “طرد اللاجئين”.
